Meet Jami Milow
Jami Milow has more than 30 years' experience working as a paralegal in the Twin Cities. After working with top-rated family law attorneys, Jami created JM Legal Services, LLC to continue her work as a freelance paralegal.

Jami began working as a paralegal in 1992 in Minneapolis after graduating from the Paralegal Studies program at Minnesota State University-Moorhead. She found her calling in family law in 1994 when she joined the Minneapolis-based law firm, Wilson & Binder, working for top-rated attorneys, M. Sue Wilson and Jane Binder. In 1997, Jane Binder started Binder Law Offices, which Jami joined at the outset. Jami continues to support Jane Binder as an independent paralegal.

Jami loves working in family law and is devoted to her clients. She has been praised for her ability to connect with clients during the intake call and she patiently guides them through the family law process. Jami demonstrates great care to every case and client and is often the recipient of feedback praising her professional and empathetic approach.
As a freelance paralegal, Jami brings a wide range of skills from drafting initial divorce paperwork, motion documents, ICMC Data Sheets, Personal Financial Disclosure Statements, stipulation and orders, pre-trial and post-trial proposed findings, stipulated findings and all post decree follow up work, such as deeds, SREDJs and Judgment and Decree follow up letters.

Jami is proficient in the informal and formal discovery process, and in quick order will have the information digitally organized, thoroughly analyzed, and if necessary will prepare discovery deficiency notices. She is a wiz at analyzing financial data, creating balance sheets and proposed property divisions, and calculating income for child support and spousal maintenance scenarios. She also works with clients to prepare monthly budgets.

Jami has extensive experience in trial preparation including preparing exhibit and witness lists, creating exhibits, and attending trial (both in person and remotely) to assist with witness and exhibit coordination. She also assists in preparing post-trial pleadings.
In response to the Global Pandemic, Jami led her office in converting from banker's boxes of client files to a digital-friendly solution. Her supportive innovations within this digital platform saves the firm thousands of dollars a year in offsite storage fees and allows team members to perform their work remotely with ease.
